Trestle plans for On30/HO needed!

I need to build a “long” trestle about 8ft. with a rise from 0" to 5" over the 8ft length.
Since I’ve never done anything like this before, any help would be great.

Hi Chuck,

a 5" climb over 8’ is pretty steep, its a little over 5% and the usual grade is suggested at 2.5%, though this is not impossible some of your locos may struggle pulling anything significant up there.
