ANSWER:
ONE, person who voted got it right.
The first all, completely roller bearing train was on the:
NEW HAVEN.
It was the name train MERCHANTS LIMITED - 12 Pullmans and 2 diners - the train led by 1111 made the 156.8 mile trip from New Haven to Boston (and next day return) in 1931.

Well since the 1111 demonstrator was sold to the NP that would be my guess, lacking any other info !![D)]

The 1111 was sold to NP because the locomotive was damaged on the NP. I think it was the cab. I read that in one of my books.
I am not sure, but would guess the NYC since Alco was located on the NYC.

I thought NP too, but apparently I was wrong…
I thought it was crown sheet damage, there was an article in MR a while back.
