Hello,
I have a new layout (N-scale, DCC, 4x6 feet) and have a few problems. Looking for trouble shooting advice.
-
Run one, two or three locomotives at a time and they will all ‘slow down’ at the same time. I thought it was always in the same locations so I:
-
I added more power connections to the tracks, and while not quite every single flex track wired, it feels pretty close to every track. Still problem of slowing down.
-
DCC power goes through one of Tony Trains circuit breaker boards. Three “sections” of power, main track, a little side track, and my industry area. Looks like it only happens on my main track, but the other two sections are so short it is hard to test out.
-
All of my locomotives need a ‘finger push’ to get them going. Even if I run a locomotive for many loops, then switch direction (bring to stop, hit key to change direction), I still need to finger push to get it moving again. Then it will run in the new direction for many loops (still has slowing down problem). Hit key again to change direction, again need finger push.

All three locomotives are new. different addresses. Pass the quarter test on the tracks.
Any ideas?
I feel like it must be a wiring problem, but that doesn’t explain the need to finger push.
Thanks in adavnce for any idea.
