Heres a little notice to everyone, The Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis has sold the last of their end cab EMD Switchers, SW1500’s 1501-1513, 1515 and 1517. Herd that Two were Purchased for Rail Link for Use in the Chicago area and the rest were Sold to Canada. Since 2005, the SD9, all SW1200’s and Now all the SW1500’s are now gone. The SW1500’s are being Replaced with Former Union Pacific GP38-3’s and herd they will be Numbered 2000-2011
They’re going to use two of them in the Chicago area? Well if that is true, hopefully they run them with minimal relettering!
This for sure makes the TRRA a LOT less appealing of a railroad to railfan.
