I am trying to find out the issue of MR that featured a particular layout. The layout was built in HO scale and fit in a spare bedroom. It featured an around the walls trackplan with a duckunder at the entrance to the room. The design also had a hidden staging yard on the outside of the track plan. The scenery was, I believe, New England in the diesel era.
I believe this article came out in the last 2 or 3 years. Any help you can offer will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Don Figol
I remember at least TWO articles on the layout but not the name of the layout or the author/builder. I believe it was last in one of the Great Model Railroads annuals, rather than the monthly Model Railroader magazine.
I wonder if using trains.com search function under “staging” would find you trhe layout?
I think I may have found it in trains.com online index.
"Busy main line in a bedroom "
Great Model Railroads, January 2004 page 8
A small HO scale railroad that operates in a big way!
