Recently acquired this set. From late 30s? Not familiar with Flyer Tin O Gauge.
This would be a good question to ask at the Classic Toy Trains forum, down toward the bottom of the page,
Chuck (Modeling Central Japan in September, 1964 - in !:80 scale, aka HOj)
Pictures or a description of the items would help. If you had posted them with your original request they did not carry over when your posting was moved to this forum. As a general rule Flyer’s catalog numbers were the same as the number printed on the locomotive/car; so the number is important in helping identify the item.
Still do not see where to upload pictures?
Read the third thread from the top on how to link photos.
Bob, I guess I’m a little thick. I can not find anywhere to upload photos (which are on my computer). I see a link photo icon in the create message window but it asks for a url. Am I missing something? Bill 610-409-2622
you need to load the image on a site like Flckr or shutterfly and link the image to the post. You can’t load an image for the forum to the forum server.
Need help ID’ing this set. Maybe 1940? Engine does not have a number.
