Hello B.Oliver and welcome aboard!

Can you share a little about your modeling interests?

Don’t take this negatively , but one thing I should share. Using this forum to “sell” personal products is discouraged (though there have been a few exceptions).

Bergie, our moderator, emphasizes that the purpose of this forum is to have fun exchanging and sharing ideas, tips, and in general help and converse with each other about model railroading. If too many people post “for sale” info, then this forum will turn into a flea market which is precisely what the MRR staff wishes to avoid.

Something you should consider: Put your items up for sale on Ebay, then post the link here. Some members here have done this and it doesn’t seem to create any problems.

Peace and Cheers.

Actually Antonio,
Bergie just posted a sticky last week about not linking to your auctions.
Remember Aggro’s weathered cars? Maybe Brandy could simply offer
an email Address for those interested. Dave

Sorry about the posting… I didn’t know it was looked upon so negatively, but I guess you do have a valid point AntonioFP45…the forum is for fun discussions. I was just trying to think of a way to help my grandma. Oh, as far as my interest go, I don’t really know much about model trains. I just used to love to watch my grandpa build and run them. My email is blk004@aol.com.

Oh, and my grandma doesn’t want to use ebay…thanks anyway!

If you have a hobby shop in your area, they may be able to get you in touch
with some perspective buyers or maybe a local club. Another option would be
the classified section of the newspaper. We have a “classified only” paper around
here called the Thrifty Nickel. A lot of people read it weekly. Do you have something
like that in your area? Good luck, Dave

In the classifieds of Modelrailroader there are people listed that buy large collections. I would suggest you buy a copy and give one of them a call.

How about instead you buy them and get into the worlds greatest hobby, you never know, you might really enjoy it.

I think somewhere in either this or the Trains mag forum I saw a ad for Trains.com classifieds. If they really exist that might be a good place to list them. If not does anyone know of a good psychologist?

Brandy,

Trainboard.com has a “Yellow Forum” where you’re welcome to post your collection. I’ve sent you off an email to tht effect. I’m also a “potential interested party” to see what you have.

I think we’re all a bit of the “what more can I get” types around here.
