TTL commemorative 13 origional states box car kits

I have a complete set fo the original first sate box car kits. They were manufactured by TTL, (toy trains limited. This company was in operation from about 1965 thru 1980. My understanding

is that Walthers co. bought them out some time after 1980. I would like to find out their value in todays market. The kits are still in their original boxes and have not been assembled. Thanks to any one who may have some information onthis,

Correction to the above information: The correct Manufacture was TM Train Minitures.

I doubt you will get what you paid for them. There was no prototype for them. Just a company cashing in on the bicentennial craze. best indication of value may be on E bay. My suspicion is they would appeal more to an Americana collector than a modeler.
