M&M M,
Does inspiring, encouraging and supporting property values adjacent to street railways and light rail, to increase, gentrification to flood the area, does that maybe, bit my tongue, anger those with suburban property they want to subdivide (and sell)? Build mini-McMansions?
Is that possible?
No matter how successful street railways and light rail are, there will be trolls who will continue to bad mouth them
Ah, what a start! If only the lemmings in Kansas City, MO, could read and understand stories about light rail lines exceeding estimates, things would be wonderful here. I also appreciate Mike Graham making the point that light rail is NOT intended to ever “break even,” but is a public SERVICE.
