But it’s worth noting that when the US forces during the 1st Gulf war were berthed in the industrial areas many became ill and some contracted diseases from the chemicals in the air which ultimately killed them. Thus we have a Gulf War Registry in addition to the Agent Orange Registry courtesy of the VA not the DOD. The primary cause was the chemical plants surrounding the camps aren’t regulated and the Saudi’s could care less what happened the US troops or the imported workers berthed there.
Gotta love totalitarian regimes…just say the word and it happens. Mussilini made the trains run on time too.
