Is their any country that doesn’t have high speed rail besides the good ole USA ???
HSR has been proposed here in the good ole USA, but there are certain powers that think that it’s more important to oppose the political party that supports HSR than to make any progress. This opposition is costing the USA dearly. The efficiencies that are brought about by HSR have been well documented. The same people who claim that HSR is too expensive seem to have no problem spending mega-dollars to support highway projects which, because of the inability of our representatives to raise Trust Fund revenue, have been running a progressively deeper deficit for several years.
