Are there any plans out there on how to build your own turntable?

I would appreciate any ideas some of you may have

Read through the previous posts for the last week or so. You’ll find several discussions about turntables, lots of photos. That should give you everything you will need to know so you can design your own “custom” fit for your GRR.

Just toss this but I remember seeing a turntable that was simplicity itself, but it was a bit large.

It was just an R1 (4 foot dia) circle of track sunk into a pit, the turntable was a 4 foot long 2x4 with a Aristocraft power brick at each end with track on top. I dont remember how it was wired but it did use its own powerpack to run the motors in the pit.
