Turntable Purchase

I’ll be purchasing a Walthers 90’ indexing turntable soon, who would you guys recommend I buy from (online)? Money is tight.

I bought my 120 foot from a dealer who gives a little discount. It is nice to have someone to talk to as I try to make it work. I also did not have to pay shipping. But then I live near a great dealer. Not much help, am I.

Your profile dosn’t indicate where you live - can’t recommend a dealer in Fla if you live in Alaska[%-)]

My LHS gave me a sweet deal near Christmas two years ago because he wanted to move them. I can see no reason why it couldn’t happen in an online purchase as well, but their margins are sometimes a bit less, and they may be more resistant to haggling.

I have had good service (not going to touch prices…they’re all over the place) from internethobbies, discount rails, toy train heaven, Tony’s Train Exchange, traintrack.net, and model trains.ca (they won’t be cheap).

You never know who might be lurking from TTE [:-^]

M B Klein offers one for $255.99.

You could always support one of our own…

Nah, I’d be Cheesie, the oft-overlooked eighth dwarf…

They can usually be found on ebay for under $200 (buy it now, plus shipping).

I got my 130’ one off of Ebay for under 200.
