On PBS tonight “American Experience”. Anthology, Documentary, History, Grand Central New York’s Grand Central Terminal opened on Feb. 12., 1913.
Hopefully this show will be more worth your time than the Smash Lab show I alerted you to last week.[:I]
…Boy, I’d like to catch that. Thanks for the heads up.
Love data on big railroad excesses and beauty of a past era…Such as the GCT and Penn Station, etc…
Thanks for the heads up, Zardoz. I’ll definately catch that one!
Past my bedtime, but the keeper of the remotes says it will be recorded for perusal at a later time.
(9:00 Central, on PBS)
Thanks for the Heads up But I thought the smash lab was ok a little different but Ok Larry
Thanks, Gonna watch it and record it.
Zardoz, we’ll probably watch it. Read about it in our morning paper.
So I’m watching the show and with about 15 minutes left the cable goes out. I HATE Comcast, they SUCK !!!
Wow. I only wish it had been alotted more than an hour. Thanks again for the heads up, Zardoz!
…Yes a great historical recall of the problems created by all the steam engine trains and the creation of the new turn of the century GCT…A great presentation of it all. Enjoyed it all.
