Twin dome tank car conversion

My latest project has been to build a twin dome tank car with centre rivetted bulkheads, out of 2 Tichy tank car kits.

I used an article from Mainline Modeller to build this oddity, although I retained the 54" domes instead of making 48" ones.

Here it is in its unpainted state to show the changes.

That’s a fine model you built there. I’d like to see it after you decorate it as well, please.

I applied the paint and decals last night, leaving just the weathering and coupler lift bars to complete the model.

Just finished lettering a per-instructions Tichy tank to compare with the twin dome version.
