It was a trick question that I stated in an unclear manner. the absense of a signal indication must be obeyed at its most restrictive indication. A signal with the lights out are referred to as being “black.”

MRL is DARK BLUE, or you can go to a paint department and find out it’s a fancy name kind of blue. It’s not completely the same as Conrail or GTW.

Is the NS black the same black as PC black? Or what about IC black? Model railroaders might know.
