I will use .10 stryene sheets to go around the corners of my 7x12 backdrop. I read that styrene can get cut w/ a hobby knife. However, couldn’t I use scissors since the styrene is so thin?
I plan to use masonite on the straight sections. The styrene on the corners will get built up from behind to match the masonite’s thickness using extra .10 strips. I have 1x2s behind the benchwork that will support the masonite and styrene. I will use joint compound to fill in the cracks between them. How much plastic glue do I need to hold the strips together? I figured to get two one-ounce bottles of Testor’s plastic cement.
TIA!!
