'Two Weeks with the EJ&E' photo call out

On the EJ&E Yahoo List, we have organized a call out to people for ‘Two Weeks with the J’. This is similar to the photo call out that magazines have done in the past where people go out for the day or whatever. Anyone who feels inclined to photograph the EJ&E between 9/29 and 10/14 can upload their photos here: http://eje.trainpictures.net/

DO NOT use the space to upload your general train photos, or photos from the past… This is only for EJ&E related photos taken between those two dates for the two week event. Feel free to shoot trains, structures, or anything you feel is interesting, as related to the EJ&E. You can even do your own photo essay if you like, or concentrate on a specific portion of the RR… Whatever you want to do. All of these photos will be saved and eventually put on the EJ&E Archive site. This is NOT an invitation to be careless, as this is NOT an event officially sponsored by the RR! Do not trespass, and do not do anything that is dangerous!

We’ve done this in years past and some people collected some really nice shots. In the past this was for one week, but in light of recent events, we decided to make this one two weeks.

For quality purposes, please upload files with a minimum size of 1024 pixels and minimum compression. These will most likely end up being some of the final photos of the EJ&E, and I’d like to have some good quality files to work with for the site. Also, please try and include caption info with each photo.

Hope to see some nice shots.

Sounds cool to me!! I’ll fire up the camera, and see what I can get.

Sounds good to me… I’ll fire up the camera, and try and get some good shots…

Sounds good to me… I’ll whip out the camera, and see what I can come up with…

With the CN merger coming, I’ll be out there in FORCE getting photos of EJ&E trains! I’ve railfanned the EJ&E every day since the merger announcement, and each day with the exception of today I’ve had success.
