We got my 3 yr old the 0-8-0 Pennsy Flyer set and he is loving life as well. He had wanted a “switcher” like dad’s and a “flashlight” car. This set has both so it was perfect. Ran fine right out of the box although I have a KW set up under the tree right now. Grandma won some points too as she came through with a bobbing reindeer car and an MTH 47ft four truck flat car with Caterpillar “Ecscagator”.

Both girls got American girl dolls, so they are happy too, but I don’t see why[swg]

Sounds like 2 young men there have just been properly introduced into the model railroad life. Well done you 2 and all the others that did the same i know even at 53 I’m still a kid at heart when I get a new train ( you really wouldn’t know the difference between when I was a kid or now) its just an experience that I just love weather its a new train or just new to me lol
