Ugliest GP7-GP9-GP20?

What do you think the ugliest paint scheme you have seen on a GP7-GP9-GP20?

There is no such thing as an ugly GP7 [:)]

The early paint schemes for ACL (purple and silver) and NYC (lightening strips) are some of my favorite.

Don’t know if it was the "ugliest"but the MPC Penn Central “Mating worms” scheme is pretty plain.

the EL gp-9 is my fav. non-steam engine.

i can’t say i like the plain burlington(silver).

Maybe not the ugliest, probably more disappointing-sure it’s cheaper but the solid black with a white NW (didn’t even bother to add the “&”) leaves one looking for more…

Hot Rod GP-9 and Burger King GP-20 are the ugliest.

How about the I.C. MPC Geep 9 with the log car stakes to hold the handrails in place!

I like the Burger King! My wife has a “candy train” that is headed by two BKs and is filled with cars like Life Savers, Hersheys, Vernors, the Dr. Pepper vat car, MTH McDonald’s billboard flatcar, etc. and ends with an Alka-Seltzer boxcar followed by a Wendy’s caboose. 18 cars in all plus the two engines and caboose.

I’d nominate the Long Island Gp-20 in gray. Too plain.

I second that, considering that the LIRR has had more colors over the years on their Diesels that many other railroads there was so much that MPC could have done.

I have the MPC LIRR GP-20, and the dummy unit w/horn. This may be a good candidate for repainting, since I have a photo of the last year the Cannonball ran with the old equipment, and it would be nice to replicate this on a model. The Cannonball also carries a Drumhead on the lead engine, (and continues to this day) making this train a one of a kind operation.
