Subject says it all…anyone ever installed one of these in an Athearn or Atlas or similar US type locomotive?
I found English document that talks about installation with field coil motors, which Marklin apparently uses, but doesn’t address how to use it with a simple permanent magnet motor.
I’m not interested in any fancy functions or external sould boards, just basic motor and light control.
