Did anyone see this home advertised?
I have seen the ad before, several months (or more) ago. There was a previous post on it.
Interesting place.

Someone had a lot of play money. The live steamers are cool. I think I would want to build my own layout indoors but it looks like the layout is pretty nice. If you are thinking about retiring here bring a raincoat. I used to live near there. It rains a lot. Other than that it is pretty nice there.
And ONLY $3.5 million - such a bargain, but OMG another drone video [:O]
Well, I can’t see spending that much for that property. The sound coming from the outdoor railroad locomotives is totally non-realistic and doesn’t sound correct to me. If I bought the place I’d have to rip out the locomotive sound systems and install a straight battery system. If realtors want to sell properties with trains like this, they should offer them without sound so that we don’t have to pay for something we don’t want/don’t need. (snicker)
[:D]
I think it’s been at least a year since it was previously shown. With no bites, it’s probably going to end up in the hands of someone who doesn’t care about the railroad and will just rip it all out and raise horses or something.
Yup, just checked Zillow, it’s been listed for sale since Dec 2013. And their estimated value for the property is under $700k. So 3.5 million - yeah, keep dreaming.

Really? You realize the outdoor trains are live steam. Your comment was not even really funny.
I heard that Wal-Mart was going to purchase the land for a new Super Wal-Mart !
And as for the Sound Systems - a new WOW Decoder would go a long way in making better Steam Sound!
At least they could get bigger sub woofers in the tenders!

That is what I was thinking. $700,000 house with $3 million worth of trains. When you pour a lot of money into anything like that you will never get your money back out of it.
And here I thought it was about an old age home for model railroaders. Just think of the rr we could build!
Agreed. And I thought realtors were finally starting to listen to us. Pfft. [%-)]
