Uniform Question

I was hoping someone might be able to help me identify some uniforms.

Can someone help me identify what time frame these uniforms were from and maybe who they were for?

Thanks a bunch!

I would say the time frame might be 1890s- to early 1900s looks like engineer, fireman, conductor and ???

Thanks for the reply ~

I bought this image about 2 years ago off of Ebay and I have been trying to identify people and things in the image.

I know the locomotive is a Philadelphia Baldwin Locomotive Works # 244, but I have not been able to identify the car behind it yet.

Thanks again for the help.

This is the whole image:

The two on the left are the passenger conductor and brakeman, the two on the right are the engineer and fireman. It appears to me the second and fourth men (L to R) are older so would have more seniority, so I’m guessing they’re the conductor and engineer, so I would say it would be (left to right) passenger brakeman, passenger conductor, fireman, engineer.

There is also what appears to be an RPO clerk looking out the door of the RPO car, but it could be a second brakeman. But since the man on the ground in front of him has a mail sack, I would guess it’s an RPO clerk.

Time would be no later than very early 1920’s, more likely 1880-1900 period.
