Hi

Does anyone own these two discs (or tapes)?

I’m considering buying stuff right now, but am not sure wheather to buy this or not.

Here are some questions I want to know about it:

  1. Is the sound “production sound” or is it spliced together from archives like pentrex does it?
  2. How much of the time does the film show turbines?
  3. How old is that production (I don’t mean the footage, I mean the telecine,editing, narration etc., which year)

Wildrails: I do have the tapes you mentioned, but I don’t know that I can answer your questions. I would suggest that you go to “greenfrog.com”, click on Sales and then click on page 12. Wildrails: Couln’t seem to get through on the link that was given for reply. I would not buy these tapes if you are looking for turbines. They are only seen in passing. Most of the tapes are of steam, primarilyof 844. Hope this answers your question.

I have Mighty turbines on DVD, whish seems to be the best film on turbines. I assume this would leave me dissapointed if I wanted the same kind of coverage.
