This portion of the old Katy is very busy. It connects K.C. with Fort Worth via Dennison for the UP. There is a segment of the old Katy mainline Northeast of Dallas used by the G&W short line, Dallas, Garland & Northeastern. I think for the most part , the rest of the Katy is gone…
