UP 1996 unveiling on August 19, 2006!

For those who are interested, Union Pacific will officially unveil UP 1996, the last of the Heritage series SD70ACe locomotives. It will be painted in a livery inspired by the old Souther Pacific liveries, and will be unveiled on August 19, 2006 at Roseville Yard in Roseville, CA.

I wonder will people on this forum go to Roseville Yard to see that locomotive this weekend. [;)]

i might just go but roseville is 2 hours away from me

Boy I wish I could but with gas prices and all, I couldn’t afford to. If anyone does go, please share with us our pictures.
