up 2002 olympic engines

does anyone know where these two engines can be bought from…i have seen them in layouts but i am unable to find them

They were done by Overland Models in brass and I believe they were only avaliable in a set of both engines. They are probably next to impossible to find now unless you can locate someone who wants to sell his. Or, a dealer that may still have a set.

The last set I saw available was at a dealer, but you could only purchase the two units if you also purchased the complete passenger set to go with them. Overland actually sold the sets without the train, but he does not want to have the passenger cars without the engines.

The last set I saw on Ebay went for over $1600, but that was about list price when they came out fo the two engines. (2001 and 2002)

I will check the dealer to see if the complete set is there and send an email. You might not want the set as it was more money than the two diesels.

I just checked his list and the passenger set and diesels are gone.

Watch Ebay and expect to pay at least list price for the two unit set in one box.
