Please help me find this car from the UP 844 excursion train. It’s the maintenance car. Does anybody make it for HO scale?
In this video, it’s right after the SD70Ace SP Heritage unit.

I’d start with something like this & put doors into the ends (off the nose of the ACe in 1 shot)…
Although to me it almost looks like a 60 ft car with a std roof, where as the 50ft car looks taller.
Michael,
I saw somewhere that it is a 60ft car, & also ran across this link for additional history…
Thanks Chad!!! That’s exactly what I was looking for.
I might get it, but I’ll try to find one of those in 60’ car.
I appreciate the help!
Compromise is the key, once upon a time it was one among a fleet of UP specific express boxcars, as a whole they enjoyed long lives, a review of my 1977 Sherman Hill outing slide collection abounds with them, all confined to MW duties, some very little changed from their revenue earning days.

Thanks Don, for the detailed box car info.
Since that Atlas car on ebay is used, I don’t want it.
But I found this Athearn UP box car here. I can paint the roof, ends, ladders, and bottom trim UP grey. And paint the trucks silver.
What do you think of this?
