Every company I was employed by (I’m retired now) had a goal of ZERO reportable accidents per year. While zero is a laudable goal it is totally unrealistic in the real world. It looks great on paper but can never be achieved in practice. Some small number, like .5 reportable accidents per 200,000 hours is more reasonable and could be achieved with a little luck. The onion gets harder to peel as it gets smaller.
