A UP all tank car train came through Pine Bluff,AR and it’s heading to TX via the former Cotton Belt line.The only engine that’s on the train number is 4076.
I have seen those before but usually the train has two or more loco’s to it. I have seen them on the Up in my home town of milwaukee and also. I have seen them running on the Cp that runs behind my work and I have seen them more and more lately. I also though it was unsafe to run an all tank car train with out protection cars between the engines and at the end just in case the train needs to be pushed from the rear.
I train from Pine Bluff back to the Gulf Coast on the UP will be virtually all empty cars going back to the refineries and petochemical plants for the next load. Northbound they ride the old MP to North Little Rock and on to Memphis and the S.IL Gateways with CSXT and NS.
I found out the train hit a log truck in Bearden,AR.
