It does? That’s the Operation Lifesaver scheme, and it’s common on many patches (all of the AC44s)
There’s no CNW number there that I can see.
You do have the Chicago and Northwestern looking forward, pulling the Southern Pacific and Union Pacific, which are both looking back. That is a symbol.

I saw the CNW operation life saver loco in Nebraska in mid May & it was exactly in CNW paint with the # on the side. [:o)][:p]
