I don’t quite understand his comment on Chicago. So let me put this way, say my company makes a purchase from a vendor who decides to use UPS to forward the package. As per his interchange comment, it would be more efficient for a UPS truck to meet and hand off the package to a FedEx truck before it gets to my project? Finally, any company is going to put its interest before others? Joint agreements doesn’t take away the principle.

Now do I agree a NS-CP is a good match up. No. But I think a BNSF-NS would be a very good combination. Just as UP-CSX makes sense to me, especially when you consider UP’s access to Mexican market and CSX connection to a growing Southeast/Florida population.
