UP converts boxcar into mobile classroom for emergency responder training
Man…I wish UP would return to this paint scheme to more of its equipment. This first time seeing an “automated railway” boxcar has remained with me for over 40 years. Couple this with the “Building America” campaign and Union Pacific has a powerful winner!
I really like these cars they rarely came to the Bangor and Aroostook railroad in Maine were I worked from 1952-1996 and I only took pictures of 2 that came but now I am 80 and my railroads gone and split up and no equipment left its a sad day for me.
Don’t you wish it would still look like this after a week or two in regular service…
