I just got back from pacing the UP Doubleheader from Cheyenne to Eaton Colorado. I uploaded a picture and very very small video clip of this mornings action. It sure was an awesome sight to see. The pacing action was difficult, as more people were following the train than I have ever seen before. I was suprised there wasn’t a big accident or head-on collision. Just thought I would give you a taste of what I witnessed this morning.
Thank you so much. I can’t wait till she comes to Omaha next week.
My God the last I saw her was when she was touring on the CNW. The 400 Special.
My God that was over 10 Years ago.
Allan.
Here is another crude video from this morning of the pacing action. It was taken by a relative of mine riding in the passenger seat of my truck. (Older Kodak EasyShare digital camera) Raw - Not edited.
Enjoy!

Caught wind of a UP Board of Directors Special from Omaha heading east to Illinois on the 28th. Coincidence that that 844 will be in Omaha on the 28th??
These videos actually look like old 8mm home movies from the days of steam. Neat stuff!
I wonder what those truckers thought when they saw that column of black smoke moving their way …
