I went to Berea Ohio yesterday Saturday March 20, 2010 to Railfan and saw 3 cool trains come through. Here are the pictures below I video captured from my video camera of the 3 cool trains I caught.
An NS Freight with BNSF SD70ACe #9139 through Berea at 10:44AM.
UP SD90/43MAC #8090 comes through Berea on the NS with an Intermodal at 12:07PM.
A Chessie System Cat Boxcar comes through Berea at 12:25PM on a CSX Westbound Freight.
Counting these trains in the pictures above, here is how the train traffic went at Berea Ohio yesterday Saturday March 20, 2010 from 10:25AM to 12:37PM.

I was in the Pennsylvania and Western New York area railfanning with my buddy Tim Sullivan (tpatrick). I was out quite a bit on Saturday and caught a lot of trains. I usually knew what was coming east - Cody kept in contact with me and reported what went by Berea headed my way. YouTube users “jettrainfan, 89sayers and gtw4918” were also trackside at Berea that same day, not to mention Jonathan Hahn and Shawn Rosin, both of which do not have YouTube accounts.
Hi Rich. When I was there, Cody was there as you can see his video of Part 1 from Berea on March 20, 2010. You can see me next to me and my dad’s pickup truck in the first video segment from Part 1. I just wanted to tell you that if you happen to see Cody - conrailforever soon, can you ask him why he didn’t even say hi or even look at me and my dad? My dad and I were confused why he didn’t. So if you see him soon ask him. We were confused. Thanks Rich. Also, nice catch on the bridge, just like I saw in Berea, of the UP SD90 #8090.
I’ve watched his video, it’s pretty good. He caught a couple things I didn’t, but it looks like he (and all of the other present railfans) had fun…
I plan on hanging out with Cody this weekend (like I do most other weekends). We should be heading to the western Ohio vicinity, to places such as Deshler, Fostoria (maybe), Lima, Defiance and Leipsic. We’ll catch some interesting moves, and get some nice photos, hopefully.
As far as him not acknowledging you, well, there’s not much to say. He’s never been much of one to talk to somebody he doesn’t know. He’s just concerned about getting his shot and nothing else. It’s nothing personal. He just didn’t know who you were, and wasn’t interested in engaging in a conversation.
