UP to operate ‘Big Red Express’ June 28
According to UP news release and newspaper stories, the train will operate Saturday, June 28th.
Seriously??? Where’s the special for the Geology Department? Or, heaven forbid, the English Lit folks?? Maybe they could tack on a couple cabooses…
Sorry, this just makes me a little ill.
Sorry Bruce. I doubt very much though that even in Boulder could they fill the stadium for an English lit recital or Geology lecture.
Who is paying for the train to operate?
UP? Shareholders? Who cares who pays for it. Operating it in a historical fashion keeps UP in the limelight.
