Thanks, guys. The Challenger is by Athearn, with the original ghastly MRC chip being binned in favour of a Lenz 1025/Soundtraxx DSX combination. I plan to convert it to a coal-fired 3985, to run with my Eighties stuff, so it’ll be resprayed black again. One day…
The ALCOs are Lifelike Proto 2000, with each AB unit permanently coupled electrically (making 16-wheel current collection), and both motors running off a single Lenz 1025. Each carbody has sound installed: the FA’s each have a Soundtraxx DSX, and each FB a Soundtraxx LC (not using the loco drive facility - sound only).
