UP1989 on the point of the Ski Train

Chris,

I agree with fifedog,The composition is really good here…I would have waited another min until he got closer for a larger image at the same angle (getting some of the train too)…That loco really goes well the Ski Train…Did I tell you I got the Sony A100 for Christmas? Im still playing with all the stuff on it…Danny

It was sunnier up in Fraiser on Saturday afternoon.

This is my first shot at posting pictures, so hopefully they will turn out.

While waiting, a westbound freight came by. It had BNSF 4880 on the point and then two FERROCARBILL MEXICANO units from . First was 4544.

Was wondering if anyone had any information on these? Pretty far from a warm home.

Also, here is SKI TRAIN 242 on the point 1/21/07. Snowing lightly.

Jim

Great shots, Jim! [#welcome] to the forums!

Greatr pics man…Very good ! Danny

How in the world do you guys railfan in -5 degree weather? The only way I would railfan in that kind of weather is if the track was less than a 100 ft. from my door ! I just could not function in that climate…From what Ive seen on tv everything is at a stand still there…Danny
