?Upcoming train shows in the Twin Cities?

Anyone know of upcoming train shows in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area this fall/winter? Hope I didn’t miss the one at Century college.

This Saturday (9/22) there is one at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds sponsored by the Twin City Model RR Museum. The other fall one I’ve attended periodically in the past is typically in October, at the Woodbury High School and sponsored by the Greater East Area Model RR Club, but construction at Woodbury HS may postpone this event this year. Finally, the TCA Lakes and Pines Division has a small open house in the fall over in Columbia Heights. I’m sure there are others, so I look forward to more responses.

Anyone know when the show is at Century College.

Boyd, if you would can you post pics of the St Paul Union Depot I’d surely appreciate it. best train show I can remember is watching trains from mounds park and passenger trains coming and going through pigs eye yard aw those were the days that memories are made of. enjoy the train shows not much out here in the southwest.

My 1970s camera I think is giving up. I might actually give into technology and buy a digital camera one day soon. I think the show at Century college is November 17th at 10am. BUT I’m not sure on this one.

You are right regarding the train show at Century College. The Great Upper Midwest Train Show will be held on November 17th at Century College. Admission is $4, with kids under 12 free.

Although not in the Twin Cities, there is the Granite City Train Show at the National Guard Armory in St. Cloud on December 1st ($3 admission). I have not been to this one, but thought I’d mention it as well.
