Went to our train watching spot last nite for a few min.
I am pleased to say, BNSF not only put in new ballast, they actually replaced the section of rail that was broken, put some kind of what looks like reinforcement brace in several sections since this section of track is prone to “dipping” and then went to the other side of the crossing and put in the final concrete ties. They had worked on that this last summer, but never completed the job until now.
They were working on other tracks when we parked and watched. Got a chance to study the surroundings a little better and figured out what they did.
Must have tied up the Lincoln to St Joe line awhile, cuz they were busy all last nite and this morning moving out!
Kudos to BNSF and the people who fixed what could have been a serious problem.
Back to the mailbox to await all those stock certificates!
…Sounds like you really spotted a dangerous problem Jen, and fortunately the correct person{s} got the message {from you}, and took action.
Stock Cert. most likely will come via certified mail Jen…might have to go to P O to sign for them…Hmmm.
Tom: I am not sure they were so impressed! I talk with my hands and the poor man on the other end couldn’t see what I was saying…[;)] (you know how that goes, don’t you?)
