Hello all. I hope everyone had a great holiday. I sure did! Anyway, here is my nearly completed railway station project in HO. I have yet to add details like benches, people, baggage carts, etc. Except for the windows, doors, and shingles (that I hand-laid strip-by-strip), everything else is scratch-built, including the train order signals (non-operating). Except for the wooden deck, it is made entirely out of styrene sheets, strips, columns, etc. I intend to add interior/exterior lights, too. Comments/suggestions???
Wow, I am impressed. It looks a lot like my AMB kit I recently finished up but I am sure yours cost a lot less. Did you have plans? Great job,
Peter
I didn’t have any blueprints, but I did use a 4X6 photo postcard of an actual station that is now a historically-packed museum in the town of Nokomis, SK. I just ‘guessed’ the dimensions and went from there.
Wow! Very nice job!
Impressive!
As soon as it is complete, enter it in the nearest contest you can find. Peter Smith, Memphis
Excellent work. Are you going to scratchbuild the details too? Please post when you finish.
