Upgrade my Loko?

Hello,

i planning to weathering my SD40-2 in nScale.

But i can’t find Parts for this Loko.

I’m looking fpr handrails and so on.

Can anybody help me?

Which manufacturer made this loco? Have you tried their website? Most manufacturers have a section where you can purchase spare/replacement parts.

I saw a photo of one of those barely half an hour ago on another website:

According to this site (the N scale locomotive Encyclopaedia), this model finished production as of 2004, which means the parts may be hard to find. Bachmann’s customer service department is pretty good, though. If you can’t see the parts you need listed on the spare parts section of their website, I’d suggest you give them a call. Or failing that, you could try and find another of these models on Ebay for parts.

Could you clarifiy what you mean by ‘upgrade parts’? I assume you mean you’re looking for better-quality handrails, that sort of thing?

If you were looking for something better, Kato has made a model of that prototype in N scale which is a much better runner.

this sort of parts i searching.

before i buy an new Loko, i will make my old Lokos better

and build my modules where i can drive them.
