Just returned from Nebraska. The pix below give the real results of that accident. 2 UPRR locos are in a ditch. Look between the parked train & you will find them. Besides coal being right alongside Rt 30 they were cutting up the hoppers to clean up the site.

what was leading that train, it looked like Dash 9s
It was hard to tell as the locos were in the ditch on the s/side of the track behind the parked train. All the car wreckage was on the n/side of the tracks right next to Hwy 30. For sure though if you check back thru the threads around May 03/04 you will see nobody mentioned that 2 locos were in the ditch & that at least 8/10 railcars were now scrap. [;)][:p]

From what I can make out from that picture between the two cars I see the front end of an SD90MAC.
I waited 1 1/2 hours for that parked train to move. Due to time constraints I had to leave so I did the best with what I could do. Sometimes you just do not get the breaks if the parked train was shorter by 5 cars I would have been able to shoot the locos. [:o)][:D]
