UP's Sparks, NV train yard

I am trying to model this yard and can’t find any birds eye view of this yard. If you have any pictures or info on the industries and yard around and in the reno area i greatly thank you in advanded.

Try posting this on the Trains forum. There is a guy over there (username SP9033) who is from the Reno area.

Also try http://www.terraserver.microsoft.com/ and http://maps.google.com/. By the way, if you are looking for the former SP yard, I believe that is in Sparks, NV.

Yup! the former SP yard is in Sparks NV,If I remember on the East side of Sparks.When I worked for The S.P. in 1964 my run was from Roseville to Sparks (P.F.E.)[^][:D] ericsp is right on

if you like snowblowers, they usually park a couple within sight of the sparks nugget casino. in fact, that’s where your birds eye view might come from.
