Many of you train enthusiasts know about the D&RGW narrow gauge C-16 #278 which is permanently displayed atop a trestle near Cimarron, CO. This engine is in dire need of cosmetic restoration and we have a unique chance to help.
I have posted a new message on the Narrow Gauge Discussion Group regarding a note I received from the Natl Park Service requesting help for raising funds for the restoration of this engine and train. We apparently can sway many people by taking the time to give input on this topic.
