Use XTrkCad designs with JMRI PanelPro

XtrkCadReader is an addon software for JMRI that allows you to import your XTrackCAD designs for use in their PanelPro application.

That is great! I would be interested to know of the file type(s) allowed for import? Is it only limited to XtraCad designs?

Yes, from what I have read it is XtrkCad only. I have downloaded the reader and after a couple of attempts I got the command line syntax right so I was able to get an XtrkCad file converted to a .xml (panelpro) file. I can load the file into Panelpro and view it in the editor but that’s as far as I have gotten with it. [%-)]
