Hello Micah,
Almost all the material circulating in my system is the present era. The four steam locomotives that I own, do not have the freight cars of that time; I still have to buy them as soon as I can!
The PRR J 1 is a locomotive that I really like and I wanted to see her return to run (at least on my system), unfortunately you are right I would have to couple it to their chariots. I can just buy new vehicles, will make a complete train set in the era of this locomotive.
