Thought I recognized a few old Ambroid cars in there. Container car, Matheson Dry Ice car, ventilated box (aka Watermelon) car, and maybe some old Red Ball and Laconia kits. I love articulateds.

I dig articulated too, and if they’re multi-colored, even better, IE GN, NP, DM&IR, D&RGW, SP: got 18 of them. Those old kits are pretty special to me: it’s amazing the detail one can achieve with just some simple pieces of wood and wire!
Not sure what you mean on the engine gone; it comes from the left and exits on the right at about a 35 scale MPH. Perhaps, your PC was slow and the PC re-started after the engine went by. Try viewing it again.
