WHy not? It’s a standard cables, USB A to B. Just bought a new printer, that is wireless as wella s USB and they even included it - so yet ANOTHER spare cable for the junk box.

Need to have JMRI installed cond configured (try using a computer throttle and seeign if you can run a train first - if that works, you are ready to try WiThrottle. Within JMRI you launch the WiThrottle server component, then launch WiThrottle on your iPod. It’s best if you have any firewall on you computer disabled, if you have a wireless router between the computer and your internet connection, it’s not needed anyway. So long as you computer na iPod can both connect to the access point/router, it should work.
JMRI is a very technical interface program suite. If you can’t find all the answers here, they have a very good support group on Yahoo Groups that can get you more technical answers.
