I want to add some garland and wreaths to an HO layout I’m building, to dress it for the season. Are pipe cleaners about the right diameter, or is there something better to use, and if so, what?
Thanks in advance,

Being a pipe smoker, I just measured a Dills pipe cleaner. Dependind on how you “fluff it”, a pipe cleaner is 10-15" thick in HO. The wreath on our front door is 6" wide, 2 feet in diameter. I think a pipe cleaner would be better suited to O scale.
I’d consider painting small O-rings for the wrerath and using embroidery floss as the garland. Just a thought.
Try one and see. If it looks okay to you, go for it. You’re not going to find any pre-made HO scale Christmas decorations.
